Our Hands Are the Lords Hands

Without them, how can He care for the sick? We have been commissioned to go into all the world and preach the Gospel, and part of that is (Jesus the Healer.) Let’s look at what Jesus told the early disciples for a moment:

Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Now was He only talking to those around Him? Yes, at the time He was. However later He goes on to tell them:

Mark 16:17-18

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

We are believers today. We declared that we believed that Jesus is Lord. We believed that when we asked Jesus to come into our hearts, He did. Now we must believe what He said about believers: they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.

Well, we have the hands, we are believers, lets get them well, what do you say?
